Overview

In the role of Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for optimizing our infrastructure and deployment processes at BL.INK. You'll work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes, enhance system performance, and drive continuous improvement. Your in-depth experience with AWS, containerization, and CI/CD will contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain the data plane components of our high-performance systems at BL.INK using EC2, Serverless and other relevant container orchestration technologies.
  • Utilize your hands-on experience with Docker to implement efficient and scalable containerization strategies.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon RDS, Aurora and Aurora serverless including SQL and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab at BL.INK, automating deployment processes and ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
  • Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using tools like CloudWatch and New Relic to proactively identify and address performance issues at BL.INK.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional international teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system architecture for maximum efficiency at BL.INK.
  • Continuously assess system performance and analyze metrics to drive improvements and enhancements at BL.INK.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of infrastructure as code (IAC) to ensure infrastructure consistency and reproducibility at BL.INK.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely responses to critical incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain system availability at BL.INK.

What we need:
  • Proven hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes, to design, build, and maintain scalable systems at BL.INK.
  • AWS Certification in one or more areas, demonstrating your expertise in cloud services.
  • Strong familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts to ensure efficient application deployment at BL.INK.
  • Experience architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
  • Proficiency in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, New Relic, or similar tools at BL.INK.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues at BL.INK.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams at BL.INK.
  • Knowledge of Sonar, Snyk, Atlassian JIRA/Confluence coupled with a skills for process improvement. 
  • A genuine interest for performance optimization and analytics, with a detail-oriented mindset at BL.INK.
  • Willingness to work inside SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified development environment.
